Lane harass is the act of repeatedly pressuring or damaging the enemy laner while they try to secure last hits. Harass is usually done through long range Auto attacks or low cooldown abilities that chip away at the opponent’s health from a safe distance. By applying constant pressure, the harassing player forces the enemy to play reactively and makes it harder for them to trade back effectively.
Consistent lane harass can lead to advantages in health and tempo, opening up windows to threaten all ins or push the opponent out of lane. When paired with good wave control, harass can turn into effective Zoning, preventing enemies from approaching minions without risking punishment. Strong harass also supports safer Roam opportunities, since the opposing laner is too low or threatened to follow without putting themselves in danger.
